L. Joy chats with the interns about their summer working on the show and teaches them about the 3 components of civic education. They continue the conversation with New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera and discuss the differences between government and political science in the classroom and everyday politics. Senator Rivera also gives some context to the ongoing healthcare debate and defines "single payer".
